Ted Dillon

Ted Dillon has a strong background in CDN and WAF platforms and has worked in various technical roles throughout their career. Ted started their career at Level 3 Communications as a Sr. System/CDN Engineer, where they built and deployed client configurations and managed global POP infrastructure. Ted then joined Verizon Digital Media Services as a Solutions Engineer, specializing in video streaming and WAF security. In this role, they provided technical evaluation of client needs and drove the overall sales process. Ted also worked as a Sr. Systems Engineer (Linux) at Verizon, troubleshooting advanced video streaming and network delivery issues.

In 2016, Ted joined Fastly as a Sales Engineer, where they focused on pushing content and logic to the edge, improving website and mobile app performance, and enhancing security.

In 2019, they became a part of Vurbl Media's Technical Advisory Board, where they advised product and technical teams and venture-funded start-ups on infrastructure and system development. Ted also consulted on digital media and video streaming scaling and deployment topology configuration and setups, as well as resolved complex IT problems.
