Robin Wouters has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple companies and roles.
Robin started their career in 2013 as an Online Marketeer at ROBINHQ.COM, where they were responsible for social advertising, SEA, SEO, lead generation, and developing improvements for the site. Robin continued their online marketing career at CustomerGauge in 2014, where they focused on social advertising, SEA, SEO, and lead generation.
In 2014, they joined House of Einstein as a Product Manager, leading user research, product discovery, design, and development, while also managing the marketing budget and campaigns. Later that year, they co-founded Kieskeurig Outlet at Sanoma, where they led value proposition testing for new business ventures.
Starting in 2015, Robin worked at Philips as a Digital Experiment Lead, leading value proposition testing for new health product introductions and consulting teams on strategy and experimentation. At the same time, they joined Sanoma as the Co-Founder of Kieskeurig Outlet, an internal marketplaces venture.
In 2016, Robin joined GreenHome as a Product Lead, responsible for product vision, strategy, backlog management, and delivery with the scrum team. Robin also coached designers on leading design sprints and user testing.
In 2018, they moved to Swapfiets, where they held various roles. As a Senior Product Manager, they connected business initiatives with agile product teams to enable expansion and user growth. Robin also led product management, talent acquisition, prioritization, and backlog alignment. In 2020, they became the Head of Product & Design, responsible for the product organization and culture during steep company growth. In 2021, they became the Director of Product Management & Engineering, overseeing product management and engineering activities.
Since 2022, Robin has been working at Fastned as the Director of Product Management & Engineering.
Throughout their career, Robin has demonstrated expertise in product management, online marketing, and development, working with companies such as Philips, Vodafone, and Golden Tulip Benelux.
Robin Wouters completed a VWO degree in Science, Technology & Economics at St. Ludgercollege Doetinchem from 2000 to 2006. Afterward, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Management and Consumer Studies from Wageningen University & Research between 2006 and 2011. In 2010, Robin also pursued a Premaster's degree in New Media and Digital Culture at Utrecht University for a year. They furthered their education with a Master's degree in Management Economics and Consumer Studies at Wageningen University & Research from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, Robin obtained several certifications, including Analytics, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Display Advertising, AdWords Fundamentals, and Search Advertising, from various institutions such as Google and the Scrum Alliance between 2015 and 2016.
