Wei Ouyang

Wei Ouyang is the Managing Director of FX, AML, and Valuations at FatBrain. Wei has over 16 years of experience in the financial industry.

Wei started their career as a Chief Credit Derivative Quant at Barclays Capital. Wei was later promoted to Head Credit Quant at Barcap and then to Chief Credit Quant at IXIS. In 2004, they left Barclays to join Athilon Capital as a Trader/MD.

In 2008, Wei joined Deutsche Bank as the Head of US Credit Valuations Group. Wei left the company in 2009 to join Bank of America Merrill Lynch as the Managing Director of their Global Credit Special Situation Group, Emerging Market, Counterparty Portfolio Management, Funding, Capital Markets, Muni Markets, and Structured Credit. Wei remained with Bank of America Merrill Lynch until 2016.

Wei Ouyang is a highly respected figure in the financial industry. Wei has been recognised by Institutional Investor for their work in product valuation and by Risk Magazine for their work in credit derivatives.

Wei Ouyang has a Ph.D in Mathematics from Cornell University.
