Eric Blomquist

Eric Blomquist is a seasoned game development professional with extensive experience in art direction, animation, and game design. Currently serving as Senior Artist at Fateless Games and Lead Animator and Art Director at RocketCat Games, Blomquist is actively involved in the development of the 3D first-person rogue-like game "Dad by the Sword." Alongside these roles, Blomquist has also worked as Game Director at Flower Twig, where a team was led to successfully release "The Song of Seven." Additionally, Blomquist has held various adjunct professor positions at Northwestern University and the Illinois Institute of Art, teaching courses in game animation and design. Previous experience includes roles at Dusk Games, RTC, High Voltage Software, and Sleepy Giant, contributing to different aspects of game development from layout design to quality assurance. Educational credentials include an MFA in Game Design from the Academy of Art University, a BFA in Game Art and Design from the Illinois Institute of Art, and a BFA in Theatre from the College of DuPage.
