David Bender

David Bender is currently an Associate at Fathom Fund, bringing over a decade of technology and startup experience to their role in deep tech venture capital. Prior to this, David was a Consultant at Boston Consulting Group and Co-Founder at Apogee Composites, LLC. Their background includes experience as a Graduate Research Fellow at the University of Southern California, a Research Engineer at TOTAL, Shell, Baker Hughes, and TETRA Technologies, Inc. David holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California, a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and has completed summer classes in Economics at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
