Allan Gamboa

Allan Gamboa is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in both the military and tech industries. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at FATHOM5, Allan leads the architecture and engineering of a software product for Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) on Naval vessels, utilizing an event-driven microservice architecture. Previously, Allan held roles at VMware as a Senior Member of Technical Staff and a Secretary of the Navy Tour With Industry Fellow, working on cloud management services. Allan's background includes serving as a Cyber Warfare Engineer for the US Navy, where the focus was on complex computer networks, and experience as a Technical Analyst at Applied Underwriters. Academic credentials include a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence from Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master's in Physics with an emphasis in Astronomy from San Francisco State University, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Physics and Astrophysics from the University of California, Berkeley.
