Matthew Hirsch

Matthew Hirsch began their professional career as an Imaging Engineer at Analogic in 2004. In 2007, they moved to the MIT Media Lab as a Researcher. In 2014, they became the CTO and Co-Founder of Fathom Optics.

Matthew Hirsch obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Tufts University between 2000 and 2004. From 2007 to 2009, they earned a Master's degree in Media Arts and Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Matthew then went on to receive a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Media Arts and Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2014.
