Jorge Olay

Jorge Olay has over nine years of experience in software engineering and development. Jorge began their career in 2011 as a .NET Junior Developer at Edenred Mexico, where they developed the Ticket Car Reports 3.0 module. In 2012, they joined Praxis as a .NET Developer, where they worked on the Actus project. In 2013, they moved to El Corte Ingles as a .NET Developer, where they developed the security system that provided credentials and permissions to all systems handled within the Ministry of Finances. In 2014, they joined GoNet USA as a Mid-Senior .Net Developer, where they were responsible for the analysis, design and development of the Merchandise website. After three years, they moved to Capgemini as a Senior Consultant, where they were in charge of implementing new modules for a legacy site. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at FatTail, Inc.

Jorge Olay obtained their degree in Ingeniería de software from Escuela Superior de Computo in 2011. Jorge has since obtained several certifications from Microsoft, including Azure Fundamentals (2019), Exam 480: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 (2018), MCSA: Web Applications - Certified 2018 (2018), Exam 486: Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications (2017), and Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (2020). Jorge also obtained a Sitecore® 9.0 Certified Platform Associate Developer certification from Sitecore in 2019.
