Allison Troy

Allison Troy is the Research Director at Faunalytics, where they oversee the organization’s research programs focused on decreasing animal suffering through informed advocacy. They earned a PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Denver and have previously held positions as an Assistant and Associate Professor of Psychology at Franklin & Marshall College, specializing in emotion regulation and resilience. From 2022 to 2025, they served as the Research and Partnerships Director at the Popular Comms Institute, supporting progressive organizations with strategic messaging research. An experienced public speaker, Allison has shared evidence-based recommendations with various audiences, including advocates and academics.
