Senior Content Executive (Operations) at Fave

Dillon Chan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Dillon started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Math Monkey Sdn Bhd, where they facilitated mathematics tuition lessons and organized educational activities. Dillon then worked as a Production Worker at Ecotint (M) Sdn Bhd before moving on to a role as an Event Crew member at Square Roots Sdn Bhd.

In 2016, Dillon worked as a Laboratory Intern at Sunway Medical Centre, where they performed diagnostic laboratory tests and maintained patient samples and records. Dillon also gained experience as an Event Crew member at Evoke Interactive, where they facilitated game booths and set up interactive and merchandise booths.

Dillon further expanded their skills as a Research Assistant at Sunway University, where they conducted experiments and analyzed data for anti-amoebic assays. Dillon also maintained Acanthamoeba castellanii cultures and performed solvent extractions on natural products.

In 2017, Dillon worked as an Event Crew member at Buddies Network (M) Sdn Bhd, where they led a team and managed the event information center for the Cold Storage Kids Grow & Glow Run. Dillon also worked as an Event Crew member at My Events International, where they facilitated a live concert and assisted with pre-event stadium setup.

During the same year, Dillon worked as a Freelance Writer at Lingoease, where they wrote website content and blog articles for various clients in different genres such as travel, wellness, technology, self-improvement, fashion, automobiles, and social issues.

Most recently, Dillon held multiple roles at Fave, starting as a Copywriting Intern in 2018. Dillon then progressed to be a Copywriter and Content Executive (Operations), where they wrote descriptions for partnering merchants, produced blog posts, and proofread technical copy for FaveDeals. Currently, Dillon is working as a Senior Content Executive (Operations) at Fave, where they facilitate submission processes with third-party merchant acquirers and helps with conceptualization.

Dillon Chan attended Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Seafield from 2007 to 2011, where they completed their Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM). In 2012, they enrolled at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) and pursued a Foundation in Science degree, specializing in Biological and Physical Sciences. Dillon completed this program in 2013. From 2014 to 2016, Dillon attended Sunway University and earned their BSc (Hons) in Medical Biotechnology, focusing on Biomedical Sciences, General.
