Guster Woei

Guster Woei has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Guster is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Fave since October 2021. Before that, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at Razer Malaysia from August 2020 to September 2021, where they managed RazerPay e-Wallet backend services and improved system quality and performance. Prior to Razer Malaysia, Guster was a Technical Lead at Ingenious Lab Sdn Bhd from February 2019 to August 2020. In this role, they were responsible for building the company's proprietary product, designing the system architecture, and integrating technologies to enhance development processes.

Guster also has experience as a Software Engineer at VELTRA Corporation from October 2017 to December 2018. Guster started their career at Goingenious Lab Sdn Bhd as a Mobile Application Lead from July 2013 to October 2017, where they developed mobile apps using various technologies and led a project with the Ministry of Health, Malaysia. Before that, Guster worked as a Middleware Programmer at Silverlake group from February 2012 to July 2013. Guster also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at Monash University from June 2011 to January 2012, where they optimized a solution for detecting and retrieving duplicate or similar videos.

Guster Woei obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Monash University, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. In terms of additional certifications, Guster Woei earned a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance in March 2023.
