Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE) is a pan-African membership organization founded in 1992 by five women Ministers and Deputy Ministers of Education to advance gender equality in education across Africa, with a vision of a continent where all girls can access, complete, and excel in their education. FAWE Ethiopia is one of the 34 national chapters, established in 1994, and part of this regional network working in Ethiopia to promote inclusive, equitable, and quality education for girls. Through this mission, FAWE Ethiopia strives to ensure that every girl is empowered to learn, succeed, and reach her full potential.
