Nardos Shewadeg

Nardos Shewadeg is an emerging leader in the fields of biomedicine and women's empowerment, currently participating in a leadership program with Ashinaga Foundation since June 2022 and serving as a mentee with Voices of Africa since February 2024, focusing on uplifting women's voices across the continent. Nardos has a solid academic foundation, pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biomedicine at the University of York, following a Foundation Certificate in Life Science and experience in pre-medicine studies at Addis Ababa University. Nardos has also contributed as a researcher scholar in the Horizon Academic Research Program and served as an election executive with the National Election Board of Ethiopia in June 2023, ensuring election integrity. Additionally, Nardos was an alumnus and scholar with FAWE, actively engaging in initiatives to promote gender equality and access to education.
