Tamer El Shamy

Tamer Elshamy is an experienced professional in areas of Financial Technology, Sales Management, Filed Operation and Business Development engaged with + 17 years hands-on experience of the most prominent business functions in different markets and industries.

Elshamy served in different roles over his ten years journey in Fawry and led a group of driving services including Payment Acceptance, Cash Management, FMCG B2B and its related financial products. Currently, Elshamy is Fawry’s Chief Retail Operation Officer, manages the company’s field operations and retail commercial activities across Egypt.

Before Joining Fawry, Elshamy served as Regional Business Development Manager at DKT International, a global organization based in Washington D.C. In addition, he served as Trade Affairs Officer with some of the diplomatic missions.

Elshamy holds Master’s Degree in Business Management from HRCI Institute in Virginia, USA and Executive MBA with major focus on Global Management from University of Texas in the United States of America.
