Michael Faass

Michael Faass has over 20 years of experience in the manufacturing and development industry. From 2000 to 2002, they worked as a Sourcing and Procurement Manager at Trenchless Utility Equipment Inc. In 2002, they joined Panasia Solutions Inc. as President and CEO, where they were responsible for the manufacture and development of a variety of products including, electronic accessories, home and outdoor furniture, electrical components, LED lighting, marine safety equipment, textiles, and other customer and client specific OEM products for retail and commercial/industrial distribution in Canada and the United States. In 2014, they took on the role of Director of International Business Development at Lifesaver Products. In 2016, they worked as VP Business Development at Lumisol Electrical Ltd and Operations Manager at WOW Tech Group. In 2017, they became China Operations at DB Enterprises. Finally, in 2021, they were appointed Director of Operations - China at Kastus® and in 2022, they became Director of Sales & Marketing - APAC at faytech Tech. Co., Ltd.

Michael Faass completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with Honours in Political Science from Carleton University between 1993 and 1998. Michael then went on to study Mandarin Chinese Studies at Sun Yat-sen National University from 1998 to 2001. Subsequently, they earned both a Master's degree and an M.A. in Political Science and Government from York University in 2002.
