Sylvan Browne

Sylvan Browne is an experienced Patent Attorney and Partner at FB Rice, where since July 2010, the focus has been on assisting clients in making critical business decisions and securing valuable intellectual assets. Sylvan leads a specialized team in patents and designs, concentrating on drafting and prosecuting cases in various technologies, including electrical, software, medical, bioinformatics, and mechanical. Prior to this role, Sylvan served as a Patent Attorney at Davies Collison Cave and held positions at Bereskin & Parr and Fluor Daniel, with a background as an Electrical & Control Systems Engineer. Sylvan holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) in Computer Systems, Optics, and Telecommunications from the University of Melbourne and an LLB from Deakin University.
