Dawn Elzinga

Dawn Elzinga is a seasoned professional with over three decades of experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Vice President of Actuarial and Property Casualty Underwriting at Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan since June 1990. In this role, Dawn leads various functions including Actuarial, Property/Casualty Underwriting, Product and Forms, Enterprise Risk Management, and Data Analytics. Previously, Dawn held the position of Director of Property Casualty Actuarial, focusing on pricing and reserving strategies. Early career experience includes a teaching role in math and science at Laingsburg Schools from 1986 to 1989. Dawn holds a degree in Mathematics Education with a focus on Mathematics and Statistics from Michigan State University, earned between 1980 and 1985.
