Bram Van Hoe

Bram Van Hoe has a diverse work experience in the field of research and technology. Bram started their career as a PhD student at Ghent University's Centre for Microsystems Technology (CMST), where they conducted research and worked on projects associated with imec. After completing their PhD, Bram Van Hoe continued their research at Ghent University as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at CMST. Bram then moved to North Carolina State University, where they worked as a Post-Doctoral Researcher under the TEE scholar program. Currently, they are working at FBGS, a company specializing in tailored fiber optic sensing components and solutions. At FBGS, Bram Van Hoe has held various positions, including Business & Technology Developer and Director Sales & Marketing.

Bram Van Hoe has a strong educational background with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ghent University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Electrical engineering from the same university, spanning from 2003 to 2008. Bram'sacademic journey began in 1997 at College Paters Jozefieten Melle, where they completed their high school education with a focus on Latin Mathematics, concluding in 2003.
