Dian Zou is a Research Scientist at Ferdinand-Braun-Institut, Leibniz-Institut für Höchstfrequenztechnik, specializing in integrated quantum technology within the Joint Lab Quantum Photonic Components since January 2022. Previously, Dian served as a Physics Teaching Assistant at the University of Canterbury from February 2018 to October 2021, where responsibilities included lab demonstrating and assessing first-year undergraduate physics students. Additionally, Dian was a Visiting Researcher at the Technical University of Munich in mid-2019, focusing on the development and analysis of a 3D-structured ring laser for Earth rotation measurement. Dian's early experience includes a role as an Assistant Testing Engineer at Foxlink, managing laboratory testing of industrial products. Dian holds a PhD in Photonic Sensor and Imaging from the University of Canterbury and a Bachelor of Engineering in Measurement Control Technology and Instrumentation from Changchun University of Science and Technology.
