Simon Walter

Simon Walter is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in media relations, social media management, and communications. Since January 2016, Simon has served as the Media Relations Officer for FC Basel 1893, handling various responsibilities including media coordination and press relations. Prior to this role, Simon was the Project Leader for Crossmedia at IWB Industrielle Werke Basel, where key contributions included the development of a comprehensive social media strategy. Simon's earlier career includes positions as a sports reporter at Radio ENERGY and as an Online Communications Manager at MCH Group Ltd., focusing on social media strategy for major events. Simon holds a Master of Arts in European Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Media Studies, both from the University of Basel.
