Bas Blom

Bas Blom is currently the Head of Performance Academy at FC Utrecht, a position held since August 2019, focusing on inspiring players on their journeys to becoming professional soccer players. Prior to this, Bas served as a Senior Sports Physiotherapist and Performance Coach for the 1st team, specializing in rehabilitation, screening, injury prevention, recovery strategies, nutrition, and sleep. Experience also includes a role as a Sports Physiotherapist at Fysiotherapie Plexus Uithoorn from September 2012 to August 2019, and previous positions at Sport Medisch Centrum Amsterdam and Players United. Bas holds a Master of Science in Sportfysiotherapie and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy, both from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, alongside a prior education at CIOS Haarlem.
