Mike Gray has had a long and varied career in the finance industry. Mike began their career in 1987 as Co-Founder and CFO of Federal Air. In 1991, they co-founded South African Express Airways and served as CFO/Director until the sale of the airline to SAA. In 1999, they became Regional President/CEO/CFO/Owner/Franchisee (EMEA Region) of Uniglobe Travel International. In 2016, they became Co-owner/Managing Director and CFO Centre Mauritius of The FD Centre Limited. In 2018, they became Non Executive Director/Chair of Audit, Risk Governance Committees of TADVEST Limited and CFO Consultant/Interim CFO of Lomati Gold Mine. In 2021, they became Interim CFO/Financial Consultant of Omnisient - Collaborative Consumer Intelligence. In 2022, they became Interim CFO of FCB.ai. Finally, in 2020, they became Franchise Owner of Tax Shop - Overberg and Founder of CFO Mentor - Business Mentor. Building Value from Startup to Scaleup to Exit.

Mike Gray has an extensive educational background. Mike began their studies in 1974 at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, where they earned a B.Compt (Honours) in Accounting, Auditing, Tax, and Business Science in 1979. In 1984, they obtained a FCMA from CIMA in Management Accounting, Strategy, and Business Science. In 1997, they earned a Dip EPGC from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in Small Business Growth Strategy and Implementation. In 2011, they earned a SAVCA/GIBS Private Equity from GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science). Mike is currently enrolled in The Chartered Institute of Global Management Accountants, where they are pursuing a CGMA in Accounting and Business/Management. Mike also holds several certifications from various institutions, including Chartered Accountant Worldwide from Chartered Accountants Worldwide, XERO Certified Advisor from Xero, and Institute of Consultants Southern Africa from IOCSA - Institute of Consultants Southern Africa.
