James Archibald has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. James started their career at DSGi Business as a Finance Analyst, where they utilized data analytics to drive customer behaviors and increase sales. James then moved to MFI and worked as a Finance Analyst, focusing on improving management reporting and supporting the sale of the business. After that, they joined T-mobile as a Finance Analyst, partnering with the Retail Director to support store expansion and assess new store business cases.
James then transitioned to France Telecom, where they held various finance managerial positions, including Finance Manager for Fixed & Mobile Broadband, Mobile Broadband, Fixed Voice & TV, and Digital TV and Content. In these roles, they built forecast models, introduced financial controls, and assessed the viability of services and content contracts.
James later joined Lloyds Banking Group as a Finance Manager, specializing in PPI Finance Business Partnering and Strategy & Planning.
Most recently, James worked at FCDO Services as the Deputy Director of Technology Operations. Prior to this role, they served as the Commercial Controller, managing commercial finance and control responsibilities. Before that, they were the Head of Finance Business Partners, overseeing finance operations and strategic partnerships.
In addition to their professional positions, James co-founded advancii™ in 2019 and served as the CEO, leading the company in its early stages. Overall, James has developed a strong background in finance, commercial operations, and strategic planning throughout their career.
