FCL LLP was founded in 1998 by Stuart Forbes and Morris Chochla. From the beginning, they envisioned a different kind of law firm, uniquely positioned to meet the varied needs of insurers and their clients. It was their goal to create a firm that was able to expeditiously find creative, intelligent, and strategic solutions, regardless of the type of file. Over the years, the firm has grown to include new partners and new associates.
 
These professionals have added valuable expertise. The firm continues the defence of engineers and municipalities on which it was founded, but now practises in a wide range of other specialities, including medical malpractice, professional liability, environmental liability, regulatory matters, directors’ and officers’ liability, and many other types of claims.

The firm continues to grow, but maintains the high standard of service and skill on which it was created.
