Paul Donato

Principal at FCM

Paul is a highly regarded leader in media and advertising research with more than two decades of industry experience. He is currently Chief Research Officer (CRO) at The Advertising Research Foundation and a Principal at FCM, where he helps clients optimize their data science capabilities. Paul also founded Jatopond, a consultancy specializing in global media research and geospatial information products. He previously spent almost 20 years as Chief Research Officer at Nielsen, the leader in consumer and media measurement. There, Paul led a global team that developed innovative methodologies for measuring what people watch and buy. Before that, he co-founded Kantar Media, WPP’s media research business. In this role, Paul was also the CRO for IBOPE SA, the premier ratings company in Latin America. He has held numerous executive research positions in the radio and print industries and served on multiple boards, including the Future State Committee of the National Air and Space Museum, Singapore Economic Development Board and World Economic Forum Consumer Council.
