Jim Chiao retired from a successful career in electrical engineering and high-tech in 2015, having held prominent positions at companies such as EDC Biosystems Inc, Quantum Corp, and Intel. They served in various leadership roles, including co-chairman of Friends of Children with Special Needs and member of the advisory board for the Chinese Historical and Cultural Project. Jim earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Washington and Case Western Reserve University, respectively.
