Shane Morris

Dr. Shane Morris is a Board Member at Feather Company and was previously the Chief Product Officer at Aurora Cannabis Inc. Shane has also served as the Vice President of Quality Assurance and Scientific Affairs & designate Senior Person in Charge (SPIC) at The Hydropothecary Corporation and as the Manager of the Office of Regulatory Affairs and Policy at the Public Health Agency of Canada.

Shane Morris has dedicated their career to quality assurance, cannabis operations, regulatory affairs and food safety. Shane is a proven leader in the industry with a successful track record in launching legal vapes, gummies, mints, chocolates, cookies, softgels, concentrates and drinks. In 2020, cannabis products whose development was led by Shane had over $40M in retail sales in Canada.

During their time at Aurora Cannabis, Shane also led a world class regulatory affairs team managing the largest number of cannabis site licences in Canada, in addition to many international regulatory initiatives.

Shane Morris has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Plant Science and Policy from University of Galway, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biology and Mathematics from Maynooth University.
