Jacob Brinlee has a diverse work experience. Jacob started their career at Navistar Inc as a Product Development Engineer, where they worked on the chassis frame team and utilized their knowledge of mechanics, manufacturing, and product validation to design and modify products. Jacob then joined the University of Pennsylvania as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Algorithms and Computation. Currently, Jacob is working at FeatureBase as a Software Engineer. Prior to their current role, they were a Customer Engineer, contributing to the development of distributed, scalable, and real-time databases.
Jacob Brinlee completed their Master of Computer and Information Technology degree in Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Illinois University from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, Jacob also obtained two certifications in 2022: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from AWS in January.
