Décio Ferreira

Décio Ferreira has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Décio started their career as a Software Developer at PT Inovação in 2008 and later worked as a Software Engineer at Adclick, Lda from 2009 to 2011. At Adclick, Lda, they developed an adserver, tracking and analytics system and gained experience with OpenX AdServer, Piwik Tracking, and Amazon Web Services.

In 2011, Décio joined UNEP-WCMC as a Ruby on Rails Developer, where they worked until 2013. Décio then worked as a Ruby on Rails Developer at HandyElephant, focusing on the development of a relationship management application with browser extensions for different platforms.

In 2013, Décio joined Quipper Limited as a Ruby on Rails Developer before moving to Qton Solutions in the same year as a Frontend Developer. At Qton Solutions, they primarily worked on frontend development.

Since 2014, Décio has been working at Featurespace. Décio started as a Frontend Developer, contributing to the development of web applications. Later, they were promoted to Lead Engineer (UI) and eventually became a Principal Engineer in 2020.

Throughout their career, Décio has gained expertise in various programming languages and technologies such as Ruby, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, Angular.js, Less, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. Décio has demonstrated their skills in frontend and backend development, web development, and planning and product design.

Décio Ferreira obtained a Master's degree in Informatics from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. In 2007 to 2008, they also participated in an Erasmus program at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, specializing in Computer Science. Additionally, they have a certification in Try Git from Code School.
