Gabriel Ogien has had a diverse work experience in various roles. Gabriel started their career as a Junior Engineer at Plastic Logic in 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Visiting Student at Northwestern University. In 2013, they joined EDF R&D as a Junior Patent Analyst focusing on Smart Grids. Simultaneously, they worked as a Materials Engineer at DisaSolar. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Reliability Engineer at Eight19. Gabriel then moved on to become a Senior Research Scientist at the same company from January to December 2017. Gabriel then joined Featurespace in 2017 and held multiple roles, including Lead Data Scientist, Senior Data Scientist, and Senior Data Science Support Engineer. In the latter role, they managed another Data Science Support Engineer and was responsible for delivering new batch and real-time rules to protect against default risk in the airline industry.
Gabriel Ogien holds a Master's degree in Renewable Energy Sciences and Technology from École Polytechnique, which they obtained from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Physics & Chemistry at ESPCI ParisTech from 2009 to 2012. Gabriel also pursued undergraduate studies in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry at Lycée Saint-Louis from 2007 to 2009 through the Classes Préparatoires program. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained certifications such as Data Warehouse Concepts, Design, and Data Integration as well as Database Management Essentials from Coursera in 2016. Most recently, Gabriel achieved the Best Companies Certified 2 Star Manager certification from Best Companies in July 2022.
