Gene Lockhart

Gene is Chairman and Managing Partner of MissionOG. He focuses on investment opportunities in financial services and data platforms. As a seasoned investor and accomplished senior executive, Gene leverages his deep experience to build great teams, and in turn, great companies.

Prior to MissionOG, Gene was an operating partner at Oak Investment Partners, leading the development of the Oak FinTech portfolio and building it into a premier growth equity portfolio. He also served as president and CEO of MasterCard International, CEO of Midland Bank PLC, president of the Global Retail Bank of BankAmerica Corporation, and president of Consumer Services at AT&T. Gene served as a board member of NetSpend, Argus International, Community Choice Financial, Metro Bank PLC, Vesta, Progressive Finance, and others.

Gene earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Virginia and his Master of Business Administration from The Darden School at the University of Virginia.
