Ian Morgan

Ian Morgan has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Ian is currently working as a Data Science Lead at Featurespace since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant at Datagram Technology from January 2022. Ian also held the position of Lead Data Technologist at Virgin Media O2 from June 2021 to January 2023, where they defined the Lab's data strategy and led the data team. Ian served as a Lead Data Technologist in the Lab at O2 (Telefónica UK) from January 2016 to June 2021. Ian has also worked as a Senior Staff Data Scientist at Viavi Solutions from April 2014 to January 2016. Additionally, they co-founded and worked as a Consultant at Browntape.com, an Ecommerce Analytics Startup, from June 2013 to July 2015, and as a Consultant Data Scientist at Bayes Server from July 2013 to May 2014. Prior to that, they held various positions including Lead Engineer at GE Aviation from June 2011 to July 2013 and Research & Development Manager at Flame Marine from February 2010 to June 2011. Ian started their career as a Trusted Expert at Qinetiq Trusted Experts in August 2009.

Ian Morgan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and AI from the University of Birmingham, where they studied from 2002 to 2005. Ian then pursued further education at the University of Portsmouth from 2006 to 2009, earning a PhD in Artificial Intelligence, statistical analysis, and time series.
