Lucy Griffin

Lucy Griffin has a diverse work experience with a focus on analytics and data science. Lucy began their career as a Data Scientist at Featurespace in August 2016 and held this position until January 2018. Lucy then advanced to the role of Senior Data Scientist from January 2018 to January 2019. Following this, they worked as the Lead Data Scientist from January 2019 to October 2019. Lucy then served as the Head of Data Science Operations from October 2019 to July 2021 before assuming their current position as the Director of Analytics at Featurespace from July 2021 onwards. Prior to their time at Featurespace, Lucy pursued a Ph.D. at the University of Cambridge from October 2012 to August 2016. Their research focused on the Physical Chemistry of clay mobilization in oil reservoirs, including surface interactions of minerals with surfactants, polymers, and ionic solutions. Lucy employed a range of laboratory techniques, conducted work at international neutron research facilities, and used modeling approaches to inform their project.

Lucy Griffin pursued their education at Imberhorne School Sixth Form from 2006 to 2008. Following this, they attended the University of Cambridge from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Master of Natural Science (MSci) degree in Chemistry.
