Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies. Ryan started their career at Canary Wharf Group plc, where they served as a Network Manager for nearly a decade. In this role, they managed the local and wide area networks, email, server, storage, and telecommunications environments for approximately 3000 users. Ryan also handled project delivery within the technology towers.

Following this, Ryan joined the Olympic Delivery Authority, where they took on several positions related to IT project management and service delivery for the 2012 Olympics. Ryan'sresponsibilities included overseeing infrastructure and application system deployments, managing data networks, telephony, storage, and large desktop deployments. Ryan also served as the Interim Head of Information Technology, developing the IT strategy and overseeing the delivery of a new office and IT infrastructure fit-out.

Ryan then joined CH2M HILL, where they held various project management roles. Notably, they worked on the Crossrail project as a Senior Project Manager and an EDMS Data Migration Project Manager.

Later, they joined Atos as a Programme Planner for Network Rail and served at IPsoft as a Senior Project Manager and EU PMO Lead. At IPsoft, they also worked as a Service Transition Programme Manager and a Service Delivery Manager.

Most recently, Ryan has been working at Featurespace as a Senior Project Manager and Team Lead. Ryan has contributed to the development of adaptive behavioral analytics and machine learning software, particularly in the context of fraud and risk management for the finance and banking industries.

Throughout their career, Ryan has demonstrated expertise in project management, particularly in the technology and IT sectors. Ryan has been involved in delivering significant integration projects and developing IT strategies.

Ryan Smith attended the University of Westminster from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Computing. Ryan also attended the ITeC Information Technology Centre in Harlow, Essex from 1988 to 1990, but the degree and field of study obtained during this time are unknown. In terms of additional certifications, Ryan obtained an ITIL Foundation certification from the Office of Government Commerce in April 2015 and an Agile Practitioner certification from APMG International in August 2012. Ryan also holds a certification in PRINCE2, although the institution and specific date of obtaining this certification are not provided.
