Medical Coordinator International Programmes at Fedasil

Tim Vromant has a diverse work experience in the field of healthcare. Tim started their career in 2007 as a Psychiatric Nurse at General Hospital Sint-Lucas, where they focused on developing and supporting the Psychiatric Department. Tim worked there until December 2010. In 2013, Tim joined FOD Justitie SPF Justice as a General and Psychiatric Nurse in a Detention Centre. Tim'sresponsibilities included medical intake and follow-up of persons remanded in custody, as well as intensive medical accompaniment of individuals with psychiatric problems and/or internees. Tim worked at FOD Justitie SPF Justice until December 2016. Since February 2017, Tim has been working at Fedasil as a Medical Coordinator for International Programmes. In this role, they are responsible for developing the international medical programme for Fedasil at both the national and international level. Additionally, they manage the national and international cooperation regarding the medical part of the programme in collaboration with IOM and UNHCR.

Tim Vromant pursued their education in Hospital Nursing from 2000 to 2003, specializing in general and mental health care. Tim obtained a Bachelor's degree during this time.
