Tom Torrison

Tom Torrison currently serves as the Operational Resilience and 3rd Party Risk Manager at Federated Hermes since November 2022. Previously, Tom held senior roles at Mizuho from January 2007 to March 2020, including Senior Director and Deputy Head of EMEA Operations where key achievements included managing the implementation of a major EMEA remittance and cash clearing system, which enhanced productivity by 40% and reduced headcount by 15%. Tom also contributed to the centralization of EMEA operations to London and led the London Operations Project team for a general ledger system upgrade. Other notable experiences include positions at BNY Mellon, RBS Trust Bank, SBC Warburg, S. G Warburg & Company Ltd., and Barclays Bank International Ltd., where Tom developed extensive expertise in treasury operations, regulatory compliance, and operational support. Education was completed at Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar School from 1977 to 1984.
