Detlef Schmitz has extensive experience in the logistics and supply chain sectors, with a career spanning over two decades. From 1998 to 2001, Detlef served as a Consultant at SCI Verkehr GmbH. Detlef then joined TNT Express Germany, where the roles of Director Key Account and Manager Tender Management were held from June 2015 until August 2018. Currently, Detlef is employed at FedEx Express as the Manager of Solution Design & Implementation since September 2018. Academically, Detlef obtained a Diplom Volkswirt in Applied Economics from Universität zu Köln between 1990 and 1998, followed by a Supply Chain Master in Global Supply Chain Optimisation from GO Academy from 2012 to 2014.
