Diego Wendt

Airline Pilot

Diego Wendt served as an Examiner/Instructor Pilot in the United States Air Force from 1997 to 2000, with key roles including Chief of Standards for the C-21 Division and Chief of Training for the C-141B, accumulating significant experience in flight operations and training. As a retired C-17 Instructor Pilot in the US Air Force Reserve from 2000 to 2017, Diego Wendt logged over 5,500 hours of command time and 400 combat sorties. Diego transitioned to the commercial aviation sector as an airline pilot for United Airlines from 2001 to 2008, and currently serves as an airline pilot for FedEx since September 2021. Additionally, Diego Wendt has been actively involved in community service as the Founder and Director of 4 US, a charity that supports pregnancy centers nationwide. Diego Wendt's education includes graduate degrees from the USAF Air Command and Staff College and the USAF Air War College, as well as a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University.
