Lance Moll

President & CEO, FedEx Freight at FedEx

Lance Moll is president and chief executive officer of FedEx Freight, the market leader in the less-than-truckload (LTL) industry. Moll has 30 years of experience in the transportation industry and joined FedEx in 1992. As CEO, he provides strategic direction for all FedEx Freight operations throughout North America. He also serves on the Strategic Management Committee of FedEx Corporation, which sets the direction for the FedEx enterprise.

Prior to his current role, Moll most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Operations for FedEx Freight. His experience spans every area of the business, including operations, sales, transportation, fleet maintenance, facility services, and safety. Moll began his career at FedEx Freight as a Service Center Manager in 1992 and held leadership positions of increasing responsibility throughout the U.S domestic operations network. These positions included service center/hub manager and managing director of two operating districts before assuming the position of Vice President-Region Operations in 2015.

Moll serves on the board of directors for the Trucking Cares Foundation and Southern Reins and on the advisory board for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. He earned a BSBA degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia and is a five-time winner of the prestigious Five Star award.
