Marshall Clinkscales

Marshall Clinkscales serves as an MD-11 Pilot at FedEx since April 2022, bringing extensive military aviation experience from the United States Marine Corps, where tenure spanned from June 2014 to August 2022. As an F-35B Instructor Pilot, Clinkscales developed and implemented the Crew Resource Management (CRM) program for the Marine Corps F-35B community, achieving a significant milestone with over 20,000 mishap-free flight hours as Aviation Safety Officer. Clinkscales trained over 200 pilots, both American and international, and held leadership roles during critical safety investigations. In earlier roles as an F/A-18 A-D Hornet Instructor Pilot, Clinkscales demonstrated exceptional airmanship, earning the Navy Strike/Flight Air Medal during combat operations, and coordinated international training exercises while managing aircraft maintenance and operations for a squadron. Clinkscales holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from The Citadel.
