Michael Land

Michael Land is a seasoned aviation professional currently serving as a Captain on the MD11 for FedEx, a position held since 2021. Prior to this, they gained extensive experience as a First Officer at FedEx Express from 2016 to 2021 and as an MD11 Pilot with World Airways from 2007 to 2012. Michael's career includes roles with various airlines such as Chautauqua Airlines, Shuttle America, and Atlas Air, where they honed their piloting skills. They also contributed to the aviation community as a Flight Instructor and Check Airman at Saint Louis University and earned a BS in Aeronautical Science from the same institution.
