Sam Dixon

B-777 First Officer

Sam Dixon has extensive aviation experience, having served in various roles within the United States Air Force and beyond. Notably, from June 2006 to December 2010, Sam held positions such as KC-135R/T Instructor Pilot and Deputy Chief of Special Operations Air Refueling at Air Mobility Command. Prior to this, from 2000 to 2004, Sam worked as a KC-135 R/T Instructor Navigator with significant experience in mission planning and instruction. Additionally, Sam has served as a B-777 First Officer at FedEx Express since February 2017, alongside concurrent roles as a KC-135R Stan/Eval Pilot in the US Air Force Reserve. Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from San Diego State University and a Master's degree in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, complemented by studies at the USAF Air Command and Staff College. Total flight hours amount to 4,155 across various aircraft.
