Tom Merrill

Tom Merrill has extensive experience in aviation, currently serving as a Pilot at FedEx Express since September 2016. Prior to this role, Tom founded MDZ Global, a company focused on secure connections for remote patient monitoring, and held the position of Captain for Embraer 170/175 flights at Compass Airlines. Tom's career in aviation includes being a First Officer at ExpressJet Airlines and a Certified Flight Instructor at the University of North Dakota. Additionally, Tom has worked in technical support roles, including a Solutions Engineer at ViaWest and a PC/LAN Technician at GolfTEC. Tom holds a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Aviation from the University of North Dakota and has prior studies at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
