Laurel Mayo is the founder of FinTech Cowgirls, an initiative launched in September 2024 that emphasizes perseverance in leadership and supports women in various business sectors, including FinTech and sales. Laurel has been with FedFis since May 2017, where roles include Conference Coordinator for The Roundup Conference, responsible for vendor management and financial operations, and Manager of Financial Operations and Strategic Data Research. Laurel's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature/Letters and International Studies from the University of Oklahoma, and a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies from Oklahoma Christian University.
