Emmanuel Ọ. has a diverse work experience in various industries and positions. Emmanuel currently holds the role of Workday Finance Lead at Fednav Limited. Previously, they worked at The Canadian Medical Protective Association as a Manager Operational Accounting and Finance Optimization Specialist. Prior to that, they were the Manager and Performance/ERP Consultant at Perizia Group. Emmanuel also served as a Controller at Sevita International and a Finance Manager at REDPATH MINING. Emanuel has experience in setting up accounting and reporting systems, financial analysis, and project accounting. Emmanuel has also worked as a Consultant at Loop, providing support in taxation, corporate governance, and business development. Earlier in their career, they worked at Obasanjo Holdings Limited in various roles, including Financial Controller and Senior Accountant, where they managed internal audits and financial operations for a diversified business portfolio.

Emmanuel Ọ. has a Master's degree in Professional Accounting from the University of London, and a Master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Ibadan. Emmanuel also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Derby and an Advanced Diploma in Accounting & Finance from ACCA. In terms of additional certifications, Emmanuel has obtained several, including Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) from Scrum.org, Leading Virtual Teams Program from Queen's University, Learning Minitab from LinkedIn, Six Sigma Foundations from LinkedIn, Six Sigma: Green Belt from LinkedIn, and Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. Emmanuel is also a Certified SAFe® 5 Advanced Scrum Master from Scaled Agile, Inc. and a Certified Ethereum Developer from York University. Emmanuel is in the process of completing their Chartered Accountant certification from ACCA and their Chartered Professional Accountant certification from Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario).
