Patrick de Roy

Patrick De Roy has a diverse range of experience in investment management and risk management. Patrick is currently serving as the Chief Investment Officer at Fednav Limitée, where they are responsible for developing investment strategies, evaluating new asset classes, and implementing investment and governance structures for the Family Office. Prior to this, Patrick held the role of Senior Managing Director at the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO), overseeing the total portfolio and capital markets group. Patrick has also served in various leadership positions at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), Eckler Ltd., Fidelity Investments, Morneau Shepell, and UBS, where they developed and implemented investment and risk management strategies for pension funds and other clients.

Patrick De Roy obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from Université Laval from 1996 to 1999. Patrick has additional certifications including Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA) from the Society of Actuaries in 2009, Financial Risk Manager (FRM) from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) in 2009, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute in 2004, Fellow (FCIA) from the Canadian Institute of Actuaries in 2002, and Fellow (FSA) from the Society of Actuaries in 2001.
