Varun Kakermath

Varun Kakermath currently serves as the Head of Operations, Supramax, Americas at Fednav Limited since March 2023. Previously, Varun held various roles at Fednav Limited, including Senior Manager, Fleet Operations and Lakes Coordinator, as well as Assistant Manager positions within Fleet Operations from February 2018 to February 2022. Prior experience includes the role of Chartering Manager at RB British Marine from February 2016 to January 2018, and multiple positions such as Chartering Executive and Operations Executive at British Marine from August 2009 to January 2016. Varun began the career as a Chartering Executive at Parekh Marine Services Pvt Ltd from September 2008 to July 2009. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Diploma in Dry Cargo Chartering and Operations from the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, an Advanced Diploma in Shipping Management and Logistics from the Narottam Morarjee Institute of Shipping, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai.
