John Wiegert has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. John began their career as a Product Support Intern at MBIA in 1999. Following this, they worked as a System Engineer at BSCI from 2000 to 2006. After that, they joined Long Term Care Partners and held various positions including System Engineer, Sr. Systems Engineer, and IT Infrastructure Manager from 2006 to 2020. Currently, they are working at FedPoint as the Senior Manager Infrastructure and is expected to transition to the role of Director of Infrastructure and Operations in October 2023.
John Wiegert has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from Pace University, which they obtained from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed an Associates degree in Computer Operations from Rockland Community College from 1996 to 1998. John also holds additional certifications including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (obtained in March 2021), and certifications in CISSP, ITIL Foundations, MCDBA 2000, and MCSE 2000.
