David Boxenbaum

David Boxenbaum is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the music and entertainment industry. As Chief Executive Officer at Newport Media Advisors LLC since 2014, David has launched a global record label in partnership with a major Philippine entertainment company and successfully sold a fintech company to a music tech platform. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at GIK Acoustics and Owner of NMA Artist Management, David manages the career of The Living Tombstone, which boasts over 70 billion streams. As an Operating Partner at Ulysses Management LLC, David contributes to a diversified investment firm with $1.5 billion under management. Previous roles include Chief Operating Officer at Avex Inc., where David achieved significant revenue growth and secured substantial funding for international expansion, and Co-Founder and COO at A&M/Octone Records within Universal Music Group, overseeing various operational aspects. David holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and has a background from The Johns Hopkins University.
