James F.

James F. has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and consulting. James started their career as a Web Developer at KCcoding in 2011, where they created dynamic websites using various programming languages and collaborated with a design team. James then worked as an IT Consultant (Co-op) at MNP in 2013, where they gained experience in creating demo websites, configuring software, and fixing bugs in code. In the same year, James also worked as a Co-op Programmer at Complex Games Inc., where they contributed to major projects involving interactive touch tables and virtual reality welding simulators.

In 2014, James joined Winnipeg Transit as a Developer (Co-op), where they further developed their programming skills. James then transitioned to Norima Consulting Inc. in 2015 as a Software Developer, where they played a vital role in designing system architectures, mentoring junior developers, and creating DevOps workflows. James progressively grew within the company and took on the role of Project Technical Lead, Technical Advisor, Mentor, and Software Architect. In this role, they were responsible for collaborating with teams, increasing engagement through social gatherings, advising senior developers on best practices, and identifying areas for improvement in workflows.

Most recently, in 2023, James became the Head of Software at FeedFlo, where they are leading the software team in the company.
